There is plenty to do at The Museum of Somerset this half term, whatever the weather.
Throughout the week there is a family trail to enjoy. This costs £1 per child, including a treat at the end.
On Sunday 12 February, between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, visit Taunton’s 12th Century Castle for a day of family fun celebrating this very special historic building. There will be re-enactors, crafts and activities, and dressing up as well as a chance to learn a bit more about the castle building.
The cost is £3 pp or £10 for a family. There is no need to book for Castle Day, just turn up.
The museum is currently hosting The Royal Photographic Society’s International Print Exhibition 159 which has inspired a family activity day on Wednesday 15 February. Between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm children aged 3-12 can tell their story in a picture.
This drop-in session costs £1 per child, and all children must be accompanied.
